Man of Steel Sequel changes release date

The sequel to Man of Steel, which doesn't have a name yet, was originally going to be released on July 17, 2015. Now the release date has been changed to May 6, 2016. According to Warner Bros. press release, the date change was for "allowing the filmmakers time to fully realize their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story." The move will also feature Batman and Woman and there are rumors that Aquaman and Green Lantern may be in the movie.

Detective Comics

Detective Comics #27 was Batman's first appearance. This year is Batman's 75th anniversary and by coincidence, Detective Comics' second volume reaches its 27th issue this week. To celebrate, this week's issue of Detective Comics will be an over-sized issue with stories from a lot of different writers that have written Batman stories. One of the stories will include a remake of the story in the original Detective Comics #27. You should check this out if you like Batman.

Star Wars moves to Marvel

Dark horse Comics has had the Star Wars License For more than 20 years. After Disney bought Lucasfilm in 2012, many people thought the License would move on to Marvel. On Friday, Marvel announced that they will have the right to publish Star Wars comics in 2015. That gives Dark Horse a year to finish whatever ongoing Star Wars comics they have.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Years guys. I know it's kinda late, but whatever. This year is Batman's 75th anniversary so expect a lot of Batman news this year! Also, a lot of superhero movies are coming out this year: X-Men: Days of Future Past, Captain America 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Hope everyone has a great year!
